Green Guest CottageWe are currently in the finishing stages of a Design and Build Guest cottage on the East side of Sonoma. The small building (approx. 290 sq.ft.) was created with sustainability in mind.
The clients and our team set out from the get go to show that a building can be sustainable,look good, be efficient and not bust the budget.
Features include passive solar, rain water collection, on demand hot water, smart plumbing (water distribution manifolds) mass floors,radiant heat, passive ventilation,lots of recycled materials, site tuned windows, cement board siding, a standing seam heat reflective roof and an amorphous adhesive solar P.V. array (the first one in town) and a three sided Deck with an new Ultra Green material exceeding all current certification standards...
